Please leave other people's images alone. I realise you are trying to improve but you are making very clumsy edits: very high noise reduction, over saturated, over sharpening. These are not improvements. If you think a photo can be improved, talk to the uploader/photographer first to see if they wish to try for improvements. It is much easier to improve an image with access to the RAW file and a modern RAW converter than to fiddle with the JPG. If you don't stop this, I shall ask an admin to stop you. Photo editing (again)
Please stop editing other people's photographs and uploading your version on top. The version of File:Stralsund Marienkirche 2006.jpg you uploaded was less than half the size of the original. You are clearly saving the JPG at a low quality setting and the JPG artefacts are quite visible. You have been warned by me and other another user already. Please stop or I will ask an admin to stop you. Touching up JPGs requires a lot of skill and avoided unless necessary. It is nearly always best to first ask the creator of the image to fix any problems. -- Colin (talk) 21:34, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
Have a read about the quality setting on your Photoshop. You should set it higher. But every time one edits a JPG the quality deteriorates slightly so it is best avoided if at all possible. Btw, you can use Photoshop to see the difference between the two versions of your file. Open the original and then your version. Copy your version as a new layer on top of the original. Change the blending mode for the layer to "difference" and zoom to 100%. You will see lots of tiny differences. Also have a look at your version at 200% compared to the original at 200%. Neither are perfect but your version has more digital noise due to the JPG compression. So that's a lot of deterioration for the sake of a couple of dust spots that I'm sure few will notice. -- Colin (talk) 22:23, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

Recomendo ler Commons:User-specific galleries, templates and categories policy, exactamente onde fala de (i.e., if you add "Category:Photos of London by User:Example" you still need to add "Category:London" to the same image). WLM 2015
Por pouco eu nao organizei o WLM no Brasil em 2014. Levei tanta pedrada por organizar o WLE que acabei deixando isso de lado. Mesmo os considerados ativos e "lideres" da Wikimedia Brasil foram contra e eu tive que comprar a briga sozinho. Cheguei a pesquisar editais e já tinha conseguido um apoio 100% garantido de algo em torno de R$60.000,00 para investir no WLE e WLM em 2015, mas acabei dispensando e nao me esforcei pra conseguir isso pois o prazo era curto e o apoio era zero. O WLE gerou resultados surpreendentes, a foto vencedora do Brasil ficou em segundo lugar na etapa internacional. Com certeza o o WLM tem ainda mais potencial, não sei se vou contribuir em algo aqui em 2015, a comunidade é muito hostil, principalmente com quem chega com muita energia querendo fazer as coisas acontecerem, como foi no meu caso. ArionEstar, when will you learn to stop editing photos like you do. There are ways of cropping that do not result in the file size halving when you shave a few pixels off the top. The best solution, if a crop is required, is to ask The Photographer to upload a new version cropped from his source files. If they are no longer available, then there are lossless cropping tools and also a page you can request crops on Commons (I forget where). @Rodrigo.Argenton: Não. Eu nomeei a imagem porque eu gosto dela. Não disse em nenhum momento que eu nomeei a imagem por causa do país de onde ela foi tirada. Eu a nomeei porque eu penso que ela poderia ser FP. Ela é QI, mas isso não quer dizer que ela possa ou não ser FP. Ela, para mim, tem boa qualidade. As pessoas e a composição não me incomodam. Só porque eu nomeei uma foto brasileira que teve votos contra não quer dizer que eu a nomeei por causa do país. Não complique as coisas. E quem vê assim parece que eu nunca nomeei nenhuma foto que se tornou FP. Veja algumas fotos brasileiras que eu nomeei e que se tornaram FP: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Não pense que eu estou chateado porque você votou contra/"discordou" da foto, pelo contrário, a sua opinião é bem-vinda, eu estou aprendendo muita coisa com isso, com esta organização sem fins lucrativos, e com os seus usuários. File:Amanhecer no Hercules --.jpgFile:Memorial J Kubitschek Brasilia statue.jpgFile:1 rocinha night 2014 panorama.jpg pra mim não seriam imagens para estar em destaque, a primeira tem um elemento grande de distração sem razão nenhuma para estar ali, e um pós-processamento muito além do ideal e muito mal feito, diga-se de passagem. A segunda não tem nada de especial... a terceira é muito interessante, mas tem muitas falhas de técnicas. Quase nenhuma das que você indicou tiveram massiva aceitação, e a razão é simples, têm muitos erros.
E tem um problema você ficar indicando dessa forma, depois pode ficar complicado indicar fotografias com temáticas brasileiras, pois as pessoas daqui estarão saturadas dessa chuva de fotografias meia boca.
Minha dica é limpar os olhos, aquieaqui a maioria dessas fotos sim, têm qualidade superior, e não tem tantas falhas técnicas.
E ai você pode começar a entender o quão brutal é a diferença entre as entradas que vc criou e uma imagem de qualidade. -- RTA16:38, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

Acho que não entendeu...
Entrou nos links que lhe enviei? Se encontrar imagens aqui que tenham níveis semelhantes de qualidade, mesmo que sejam só do Brasil, acho interessante que você nomeei. Agora, precisa entender mais do que faz uma boa foto, e também abrir a imagem em sua maior qualidade possível e ver os detalhes. Sei que não tem o costume por suas indicações, volto de novo para a minha foto, que claramente quem votou à favor não o fez em tela cheia, já que estava grosseira a perda de dados...
Há outros elementos que devem ser considerados, exemplo: A foto do jardim botânico de Curitiba, a primeira que você nomeou é igual à praticamente 80% das fotos que você encontra se procurar jardim botânico Curitiba... uns 15% tem a estátua da fonte que deixa já a foto bem mais interessante, e aí vem as fotos únicas, que deveriam ser destaque, que tem aquele "wow" que se ler muitos ali esperam em uma FP. [3][4][5][6][7]. E pq isso ocorre, pq não é ordinário, pq seguem regras de composição, pq não têm falhas técnicas, pq a pessoa pensou antes de tirar a foto, chegou perto do seu objeto...
E antes que pense, não, não é exigência de mais, não, não estou exigindo que o cara seja profissional, há um degrau considerável entre as fotos que eu lhe mandei e fotos pro [8][9]...

Mas eu já visitei o Brazil mais de uma vez, ArionEstar! A última vez foi em 2009: estive em Ouro Preto (Belo Horizonte) e numa pequena cidade do estado de São Paulo, Presidente Prudente. Ia morrendo de calor! Também já lá tinha estado muitos anos antes: no Rio, em Belém e no Recife; mas nessa altura não havia fotografia digital! Olá, tudo bem? Fiz os ajustes prometidos, inclusive a imagem ficou maior mesmo com corte, melhorei a qualidade do exportação e nos detalhes. A legenda também está em inglês e português e com maiores detalhes.

Olá, tudo bem? Depois dos problemas relacionados a ruído e nitidez em diversas imagens, eu percebi claramente que alguns problemas só podem ser resolvidos fazendo outra imagem (quando for possível). Foi com base nisso que sumi, estive estudando para saber o que poderia fazer para aumentar a nitidez em diversas situações e também o ruido, fiquei impressionado como são detalhes muito pequenos que transformam uma imagem de ruim para super nítida. Quando tiver um tempo, se puder dar uma olhada, estou enviando novas imagens aos poucos, mas com qualidade excepcional (nitidez/ruído), e o melhor de tudo, o mesmo equipamento. :)

Realmente o WLE 2014 e WLE 2015 foram um grande sucesso, mas há muito trabalho a ser feito. Aproveitando seu interesse, gostaria de convida-lo para nos ajudar no processo de revisão das fotos recebidas. Temos 13.000 fotos do WLE 2015 para filtrar e selecionar as melhores para que os jurados possam dar nota. Tenho várias boas idéias, o que falta é gente pra apoiar o trabalho. Topa dar uma revisada nas fotos no sistema? Temos que filtrar todas as fotos enviadas para que os jurados possam dar nota. É um sistema externo desenvolvido pelo pessoal da Ucrania. Remember that you asked me to fix the EXIF on this file?
Well, it turns out that my 'fix' introduced another problem in the EXIF as it stripped the sRGB colour profile data due to an error in the script I used (it has now been corrected). I am now in the process of the repairing the damage done on all the uploads where I have used this script with errors.
So, I would like to upload a new version of this photo by Webysther, where this problem with the color profile data is fixed, but it requires that I use the original where the profile data is in it to derive a corrected version, and since then you have edited the picture as well by cropping it. So, it takes a little more.
If I upload a new version based on the original with correct EXIF (and intact colour profile) data would you then be willing to crop it again as you did previously? -- Slaunger (talk) 11:54, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Obrigado por ter participado do concurso Wiki Loves Earth Brasil 2014/2015.
Ao longo destas duas edições contamos com a participação de quase 3.000 fotógrafos e recebemos ao todo mais de 20.000 imagens que estão sendo usadas para ilustrar artigos da Wikipédia e enriquecendo o nosso repositório de imagens aqui no Wikimedia Commons. Devido ao grande sucesso das duas edições do WLE, decidimos trazer para o Brasil o maior concurso fotográfico do mundo, que será realizado de 1 a 30 de setembro de 2015.
O Wiki Loves Monuments é organizado em vários países do mundo e é considerado desde 2011 pelo Livro dos Recordes como maior concurso fotográfico do mundo. Estamos aqui para te convidar a fazer parte da historia e do maior concurso fotográfico já realizado!

@Rodrigo.Argenton: O que você acha que poderia fazer com a foto? A composição é muito boa e o ângulo é quase perfeito. O lustre está devidamente centralizado na imagem, mas por causa do ângulo quase que perfeito, parece que tem mais espaço de um lado do que de outro. Qualidade é boa eu penso, mas eu sinto falta de um pouquinho de brilho. Na minha opinião a segunda foto estaria mais interessante se estive mais espaço em baixo, está muito apertado o assunto. 😄 ArionEstar 😜 (talk) 11:22, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

True, our people are smart, Tesla was Serbian. Problem is we were 500 years under Turks, which made lot of damage and slow the progress, then we have 2 world wars and Germans want to extinct Slavic people, fasizm... But we are going up. Kosovo, one more case of western (American) hegemony. Now that time is over. I will have guests from Brasil in January, a couple from Caonas and Porto Alegre. Hi, Arion - question...since the TIF and JPG are exactly the same image (just on different formats) would you log your support in the TIF section rather than the JPG section? That's why I noted there was a JPG available and linked it. I wanted to avoid 3 different consensus sections and a fragmented consensus. Oh, my! I entirely missed that requirement in the candidacy guidelines. In fact, I thought PNG and TIF were the preferred formats because they are of much higher quality. Ow, quando vc remove algo da foto, tipo uma pessoa, você deve criar outro arquivo, clone stamp não é nada aceito em várias situações, e o que você fez aqui: File:Sunset at Noronhas' beach.jpg, deveria ter sido feito em um arquivo separado, e como eu disse, é uma foto bem merda do ponto de vista educacional, principalmente quando você retirou a escala. Tirando outra foto, com uma câmera melhor, ou com o tripé e 70 fotos... a costura eu não tinha reparado, o ruído não tem como mesmo, para ter noção são 7 fotos na direita para ficar com o ruído que está, repare que na esquerda está bem pior, que acho que tem umas 3 fotos, fiz correndo, tinha outras coisas por fazer.
Ué, ele embargou a votação anterior... é uma foto de qualidade muito duvidável pra passar assim.

Please excuse me spamming you, which concerns Generosity Crowdfunding Campaign. My contributions cover the architecture and culture of Brazil and Venezuela. I has basic photographic equipment: an old D300 camera and 35mm lens, and it is very expensive for me to acquire this equipment. I has recently taken several images using the technique where multiple frames are stitched together to create a high-resolution panorama. However, many times frustrated with the stitching errors that result from trying to take such photos without a proper panoramic head for his tripod. This special equipment permits the camera to be rotated around the entrance pupil of the lens, and eliminates such errors. Having a panoramic head would greatly increase the potential for The Photographer to create sharp high-resolution images for Commons. In addition, the purchase of a camera with a fisheye lens would enable 180 × 360° panoramas to be taken, which are a great way to explore a scene as though one is really there.

Yes I looked at that list of contributions, although I guess we can disagree about what 'regular' is, I did see a lot of their own work contributed. So I chose to be inclusive and count them as part of the community here and as an active user. I also expressed my disagreement with sharing a link to their Facebook profile on here. Even if it is a publicly available profile, I don't think it was really very appropriate to do that, even though you were trying to help other users understand who the author was/give them more information about it. It feels like too much personal information was 'exposed' when the user is not an outsider to the community and has an account here. I take from my own experience that I would not like my Facebook profile linked on here, just as a personal decision. Would you consider removing the link? Let me know your thoughts. @Webysther: Engraçado que eu sempre editei fotos aqui no Commons e ninguém falava nada sobre consentimento de autor, agora que está acontecendo isso… Já que você falou, observei que não temos muitas imagens de qualidade de capitais estaduais (exceto São Paulo e Rio, que detêm o monopólio, inclusive São Paulo possui The Photographer, que inclusive é da Venezuela, como fotógrafo regular); se você analisar bem, temos mais imagens destacadas do interior do Brasil do que nas metrópoles e centros urbanos. Nesses quatro anos de Wiki vi o número de fotos do Brasil explodir como nunca, até mais do que certos países da Europa. 😄 ArionEstar 😜 (talk) 22:47, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

Entendi, vou olhar. Eu estava pesquisando umas imagens no Flickr e achei algumas fotos de que preciso (como essa) cuja licença é aceita aqui. Só que essas fotos estão cheias de marca d'água, o que polui muito a qualidade das imagens. Existe alguma forma de carregá-las aqui sem essas marcas? You are still very young, and hopefully you have not yet encountered sorrows so great that they turn your world upside down. When that happens, people often need help from professionals. I understand that you're trying to find male nudes that could be FP-worthy. I think Dall'Orto's work is great, though a bit old (and this shows in the technical quality of the images). But I also think there are better images there, I like this and this one for instance, especially because these are not headless (I understand the need for anonymity for queer men) but both are more explicit.
